Huma Schwabach
Munich/Schwabach, 20 December 2011 - The fundamental redesign of the Huma shopping centre is entering its final phase. The first renovation phase was completed successfully back at the end of 2010. Not long before that, the Jost Hurler Group, which has owned the property since 1975, took over the management of the centre again and immediately initiated fundamental restoration measures. The more extensive changes include an innovative utilisation concept and modern, exemplary architecture.
A diverse range
Several rental agreements have already been signed, which attests to the new, pioneering concept. For example, one of the largest Real stores in Middle Franconia, spanning over 10,500 square metres, has already been based in the Huma centre in Schwabach for many years, and soon Germany’s biggest electronics retail outlet will also present its range of products in the generous new space. On the ground floor, visitors will in future also find Depot, the trendy furnishings shop, and a large dm drugstore. to top

The upper floor is already dedicated to fashion, with fashion shop Modepark Röther, the boutique Messler’s and Lederwaren Dorsch soon to be joined by the shoe retailer Reno and another fashion retailer, Charles Vögele. In the centre of the two-storey building is a marketplace flooded with light that can be used equally well for events and for various seasonal presentations.
