Schwabach

The Huma shopping park in Schwabach is a centre for specialist stores. Its ideal situation next to the motorway is perfect for this use concept. The stores are easy to get to and at the same time highly specialised - and therefore attract customers from the entire surrounding area. As a centre for specialist stores, it also makes the ideal complement to Schwabach city centre.
Jost Hurler resumed management of the Huma shopping centre in June 2009. The building has been in the company's portfolio since 1975, but was under the management of a department of Metro AG for 22 years. The company's resumption of management now also heralds some radical changes. The extensive revitalisation concept is backed by a budget totalling 50 million euros. Following core renovation, the building will be given a completely new look and equipped to the latest technical standards. All modernisation work is scheduled for completion in time for Christmas business in 2011.
