Huma Shopping Centre,
Sankt Augustin

The outstanding feature of the Huma shopping centre in Sankt Augustin is its exceptional location at the heart of the city centre, by the marketplace and next door to the town hall. It is one of the biggest shopping centres in the region and will also offer space for a spa and health area, event facilities and a theatre once conversion work has been completed.
Since it first opened in 1977, the shopping centre has been in the company's portfolio and here too, as in Schwabach, Jost Hurler resumed management of the centre in June 2009. Prior to that it had been run for 22 years by a department of Metro AG. Full consultation with tenants, customers and the municipal authorities is now to be followed by extensive modernisation work. The proposed radical structural changes will also give the marketplace a brand-new look. But that's not all: the new, improved centre will also add to the attraction of the nearby shops and stores.
